It’s more of an artwork than a bed…

This was one of the first objects I made while at college, up until then I’d just worked on flat two dimensional work. The theme of ‘the body’ seemed to evolve naturally. Not just my body, but also the body of objects. This theme can be seen in ‘Bed’ where I used my own body as a template for the mattress, but also in Toothbrush Case and Bird Cage.

Check out this cool Bosai Futon that turns into a bed. (Well, maybe that’s what a futon is…duh~)

Anyways, this futon doesn’t have angles when in “sofa mode” unlike the ones I’ve seen. This might be good.

Here’s a cool high tech BED for all you game lovers. It has a built in stereo speakers and subwoofer system so you can play games while laying down. This would be very good for outdoors too.

Here’s Nagano Bed available in Mahogany or Black great for memory foam mattresses. At about $700, it seems pricier than it should be. Anyone know cheaper source?
(I tend to go shop at local vietnamese bed dealers, they seem to be the cheapest but you gotta haggle and hustle…)
