Take Out the Kitchen Muddle
0 Comments Published by brian yalung August 26th, 2008 in Bedroom, Home Designs, Kitchen.
If there is one thing that contributes to a rowdy home, that is of being unorganized or full of stuff we don’t need. Among the places in a home that would have a lot of these would be the kitchen. Ranging from seldom used pans and appliances, the standard kitchen may look close to a stockroom for most, choosing to store them away from some future and occasional use.
But while it may take years to figure out that such a practice can become impractical, it would be best to try and diminish the stuff you have in your kitchen, especially if you don’t use them frequently. Options including selling them or giving them away to someone close can help free up your kitchen, not to mention provide you with a more organized place in your home.
You really cannot discount disposing of such items. But in these days, an orderly home supports a better lifestyle and outlook for the usual household and owners.

Flexible Exercise Beds
0 Comments Published by brian yalung August 26th, 2008 in BED Activities, BED DIY, BED Gadgets, BED Home, BED News, BED Technology, Bed Designs.Exercise is something that not too many people are quite fond about especially when they are in bed. Normally, beds that can help people with deficiencies normally in the hospitals are given specialized beds to assist them and avoid movement in times of pain. But these days, pain is not restricted to hospitals as people in homes have current problems of their own such as obesity and limited movement.
While most of us are encouraged to turn to exercise for better lives, beds pose a threat in getting it done. At times we find ourselves too lazy to get out of bed but with this new invention by surgeon Charles Filipi, this flexible exercise bed may soon be the answer to all these problems.
He says that many obese patients are required to exercise as part of their treatment. But getting them into a standing position can involve numerous staff and finding a treadmill for them to work out on can be even more time consuming.
When the patient needs to exercise, the bed slowly tips into the vertical position, planting the treadmill onto the ground ready to be used. That means a person can always access the treadmill easily, with minimal assistance from anyone else.

Egyptian Writing Tables from France
0 Comments Published by brian yalung August 25th, 2008 in BED News, Home Designs, Table.
For people who have wondered about the quality of tables that have been designed after Egyptian reigns, there are designs offered in the market today that can bring you closer to them. But the catch here is a hefty price of around Dh645,000 to won one, not an ideal amount for people who invest on a wise budget.
Now unless you are an avid antique and rare find collector, this is something you may not even think of getting. For one, who can spend that much for a piece of writing table? Probably the millionaires but then again owning one would be restricted to bragging rights rather than brightening your home.
This rectangular, 30 inch high and 48 inch wide table is made of ebonised wood and is set with gilt bronze and crystal, while the top is veneered in shagreen.
This piece was made by Maison Jansen, one of the most important decorating firms in France.

Mogul Revives Sexy Interiors and Home Designs
0 Comments Published by brian yalung August 25th, 2008 in BED Hollywood, BED Home, Bed Designs, Home Designs, Interesting Beds.
For people who want classic interiors and home designs, the ideas are best inherited from the people who have already made their mark. For people like Mogul designer Thomas Pisicitello, adding a sexy pitch towards modern designs that people have been used to is a good business transition that can be both stylish and catchy.
So if you have seen those past alluring designs, check out Mogul’s new Haute Hollywood 2008 collection. You are bound to find something familiar and of course worthy to purchase with the right funds.
“The store is warm and very, very sexy with that Gucci-Tom Ford influence,” Piscitello said. “I live in his clothes and he could definitely live in this store. They have the same feeling. We’re all reading off the same page.”
Mogul opened in November 2005 and is Piscitello and Wagner’s second retail venture. The first was Belux, a more classically oriented design shop that opened in 2001 and was run by the designers before being sold to their furniture manufacturing partners in 2005.
“We wanted to do a new spin on the classic old Hollywood style and make it more modern,” Piscitello said of the difference between the old and the new store’s aesthetic. “We took Mid-century elements and then changed them a bit to create a new eclectic mix with a strong fashion influence.”

Pulling the Perfect Rug
0 Comments Published by brian yalung August 24th, 2008 in Home Designs, Livingroom, Rugs.
Complete interior designing and home makeovers can further be improved with the right placement of aura setting accessories. Carpets, paintings and rugs have that knack of spicing up a room or the whole home if they are placed properly. But such is easier said than done. Similar to art works, you have to consider various issues such as proper blending of colors and how they can enhance a room upon their placement and installation.
There are plenty of rug designs in the market and among them lies the perfect rug. Just check them out and see which fits best. Make sure you don’t overdo it since an over-designed room may look like a home with no conceptualization nor direction at all.
A great rug can impart warmth to a chilly room and act as a focal point for the rest of the your decorating scheme. Like the perfect partygoer, it can combine being the life and soul with bringing out the best in its fellow guests. The secret is to steer clear of the overbearing, room-dominating It-rugs (oversized Union Jacks are out) and explore the latest collections, which feature soft-spoken, subtle geometric patterns in sumptuous cut piles, felts and exotic fibres.
