The wooden head and footboards are joined to side rails by metal-to-metal fittings providing stable construction. The Nevis Platform Bed has a unique look with four metal rods centered in the headboard and footboard. 14 hardwood slats are included so that the bed can be used with a mattress only. No Box Spring is required for this Platform Bed. The center support legs are only included with the Queen and King sizes. The bed comes in Twin, Full, Queen, King and California King Sizes.
