Are you Forgetting the Color of Room Walls?

While most of us are drawn towards thinking of what gadgets and stuff to fit into our room, the base of it all has to be the overall theme of it. We overlook the aspect of considering what base colors, usually a toss up from the usual primary colors such as white, beige or gray. But if you think of it, it seems like it would be safe to start it all off from the neutral gray colors.
Of course, you can pick it up from there. Normally tinting the gray either lighter or perhaps darker would depend on the home owner’s taste. You don’t need to consider other home furniture and appliances for now since knowing this gray color is a neutral and can blend in with any other color or design. That is what makes a touch of gray the safest among colors.
So while there are colors to choose from, it is all about picking out the primary base color for a particular part of your home. It may not seem catchy for now but wait until you have all those furniture and ensembles packed in it. That is where the magical aura starts.
“Everyone wants to cleanse their palette with gray or black or deep, rich colors,” said Darl Grooters of Palos Park, who took on the dining room. “We’ve had so many wild oranges and rusts and lime greens.”
Anne Coyle of Chicago always uses gray in rooms she designs, calling it an elegant background that goes well with any other color and elevates the room. She was in charge of the bedroom.
