Protect Homes with a Pakua or Crucifix

by brian yalung on Wednesday, December 10th, 2008

Depending on your beliefs and how superstitious you are, there are home protection solutions that originate from catholic and Chinese beliefs, mostly aimed at warding off bad spirits from entering your home. The most common symbols used are the Pakua or the Crucifix that people place at the door or windows which normally symbolizes the welcoming part of your home.

Some people do not immediately believe in it. Many don’t believe in evil spirits and such. But while Catholics and Chinese follow these traditions, if you feel that you are living a life of bad luck or lacking in spiritual guidance, it would not hurt to try this out.

As far as the Pakua is concerned, it is placed at the doors and the windows and act as protectors from the commonly known Chinese demons.

Crucifixes are usually meant to ward of bad spirits and ghosts from entering a room and scaring people.

Depending on how you look at it, these small additions may not hurt, especially if you feel that you need protection in the spiritual kind.
