Chances are if you are supporter of green energy you would have heard of the Bloom Box. For the uninitiated, the Bloom Box is a fuel cell which is meant housed in a unit about a size of a fridge and then power houses and offices.Multiple 100kW units will cost anything between $700,000 and $800,000 each.
Bloom Energy CEO K.R. Sridhar says:
“It mixes with water, which is a byproduct of our exhaust. Water and methane goes into the system and within the system the methane and the water react,”.
