If you had the chance to use assembling toy aircrafts as a hobby, then you may probably easily understand the whole concept behind the Flight Lamps.
Though simple, the real catch here is to satisfy three criteria:
1. Create something using aircraft ply
2. Incorporate tension upon construction
3. Something which can easily flat-pack into an envelope.
Calen Knauf was able to stand up to the challenge, coming up with the flight lamp which was inspired by traditional balsa-wood airplane kits. It weighs no more than 1.5 lbs and is able supported by two copper legs.
Available in two different colorways, the flight lamp should be a sturdy addition to any home or even office.
