The Opera Australia Chandelier

Unless you have a mansion or space for a nine-meter chandelier, chances are this one was made only for public ones with lots of space to occupy. This is the Opera Australia Chandelier, something made by Brian Thompson for the country’s first outdoor opera.

The giant chandelier is made of 3,000 LED lights and 10,000 Swarovski Crystals. The chandelier was a perfect compliment to the custom built stage used for the La Traviata production which needed a hefty $11 million to produce.

The chandelier was perfect for the event, a functional addition that sparkled as the show went on. Hopefully a smaller version made for homes would come out too since this chandelier is certain to be a great addition for homes too.
