At first, the Pinokio Lamp seems like any ordinary lamp you would see at homes or stores with the intent of offering the proper glow and lighting when needed. But the Pinokio Lamp features something different, that is on responding to its surroundings in an adorable manner as that of Pixar animation.
The lamp was created by Shanshan Zhou, Adam Ben-Dror and Joss Doggett and comes with additional features as well. This includes a webcam, a mic, a mechanical iris, servos and a halogen globe. But the real deal about the Pinokio lamp is really the Arduino, OpenCV and codes which account for its impressive head-tracking and motion capabilities. It also recognizes sounds and more to display a broad range of behaviours.
