Improve your Kitchen with Eco-Friendly Pots and Pans

by brian yalung on Friday, December 26th, 2008

Many of us have spent our time in the kitchen these holidays and apparently one would notice that new pots or pans would definitely be a good point to consider once 2009 comes. If you want to have a good kitchen, may as well consider eco-friendly products of pots and pans. A lot of them are around and if there is one thing that you can do to become eco-friendly, it all starts by checking out pots and pan products made via recycled materials.

On the other hand, the pans you should avoid are obvious. They are:

1. Pots and Pans made from PFCs or Petrochemicals
2. Teflon based pans.

Of the two, the latter seems to be in question as its non-stick feature has made cooking better for people. But if you want to do your part in saving the planet, avoid them. Aside from costing a lot, they contribute to the growing issue of environmental concerns.
