Many may say we are far off from the future but realistically, we may be closer to advanced home needs than expected. Voice commands are not common these days but it seems there is one company that is making it all possible.
The software is courtesy of a company called Home Automated Living and the product is named HAL. All the homeowners need to do is say something like “Open music, open Led Zeppelin or play Black Dog” into the computer microphone or house telephone, and the music system will play the selected song from a large collection. Moreover, the HAL is voice-compatible with Leviton lighting system, the GE security system and the HAI thermostat.
