Stand-up Desks Can Be Better Options for Home Workers

by brian yalung on Tuesday, December 9th, 2008

The growing number of work from home individuals has made some people invest on a couple of office furniture such as office tables and office chairs. Though it may seem you would be sitting all the time, here is a good concept for people who want to move a bit, especially for the people who spend a lot of time in front of the computer.

The Stand-up desk can be a good alternative for people who want to type while standing or sitting. All it takes is some adjustment, particularly on the keyboard or mouse position interface tools. With the right flexibility, you can avoid the problems that may suffice as far as your joints and bones are concerned due to a long and wary position that can really be strenuous.

“To go from sitting to standing, simply slide the keyboarding surface out, and reposition it in the standing position. This takes about 15 seconds, and requires no tools. A wireless keyboard and mouse make moving the keyboarding surface between sitting and standing desk positions quick & easy.”
