The English Style of Home Decorating
When you are trying to spice up your home, it doesn’t have to be hard. Some home owners would focus on renovation, interior designs or even buying exotic furniture. But why not start from the simplest thing in your home such as your pillows and bed sheets.
Themes are often looked up to by most people. Now along that line includes may include a country’s symbols. To most the British colors such as the Britain flag offers something different. Perhaps something similar to the Star Spangled Banner to which you can apply to your bed and pillows if you are that hooked on patriotism. But why not a British look?
Something about our watery winter light makes whole rooms succumb to the interiors equivalent of seasonal affective disorder. A dose of colourful textiles, however, will soon bring back the sunshine. Cushions, woolly blankets, chenille throws, felt rugs and woven-silk wall hangings are the mood-enhancing route to a swift and inexpensive transformation from Bleak House to cosy chic.
