Murano here is not a Japanese surname; it comes from the word “murrine”, which is a symbol of the traditional Venetian glass art. Embedded on the bed frame is a symbol of the sun, accompanied by the M shaped headboard, enrich by themselves on the bed. “Murano” is also available in the version without footboard, but I think it would be best leaving it there.
