Cardboard chair by Raacke

by TanYA on Tuesday, August 5th, 2008

Going green is the mantra of the 21st century and using less wood is always good (hey that actually rhymes). Hence one of the reasons we really dig the Cardboard chair which was designed by Prof. Peter Raacke, way back in 1968.

OTTO belongs to the first industrially fabricated pieces of furniture, which were solely made from cardboard. Today is displayed in the MoMa, Vitra Design-Museum and the ‘Deutsche Technik-Museum’.

OTTO ist for:
- seating,
- being painted,
- being sprayed,
- being decorated or
- leaving undecorated
