Jessica Alba Prefers Used Furniture
Popular actress Jessica Alba could care less about whether the furniture that she buys has been used or not. Actually, it is all about quality and of course craftsmanship.
If you look at her home, she has been branded eco-friendly mainly due to her current journey towards seeking reusable furniture that have been often discarded by others for new ones in the market. Other than being an economical way to furnish your home, it also makes sense considering durability of old furniture items are still best especially if they have been around for a longer period of time.
Interior decorator Kari Whitman scours antiques store, flea markets and a client’s existing inventory before even thinking about new furniture. “The craftsmanship is often better in older pieces,” says Whitman. “For Jessica Alba’s house we bought almost every piece used.”
