Have you ever looked closely at some of the more beautiful Victorian homes that exist? What makes them so beautiful? It’s hard to tell, for everyone seems to be attracted to different things. Some are attracted to the house, others the grounds. Those who are attracted to the grounds of a Victorian house may find their eye being pulled towards the metal work in the garden and around the grounds. Many Victorian homes had a great deal of metal work strewn about, including metal statues and metal fences.
Their metal fences were a work of art themselves, with straight lines mixed with beautiful curved lines; they were copied around the world.
