There are a lot of materials out there that can be used to create desks or tables. But with the ecofriendly awareness sinking in, Studio Levant offers something ideal by using old shipping pallets in place of traditional new wood which should cover recycling and saving innocent trees from being chopped down.
The desks and tables by Studio Levant make use of the old shipping pallets together with some high-density polyethylene plastics. The pallets curiously have the necessary details thus allowing designers to keep them simple while rendering their own character.
The pallets used are made from wood harvested from sustainably managed forests free from copper, cadmium and arsenic thus resulting in pieces of furniture which carry clean lines and warm tones which make them easy to move and rearrange.
