Here is an odd looking bench for you. The Screw It Bench is something reportedly made from 12 broad blocks of wood, cut into parallelograms and given a pair of opposite beveled edges.
The shaped pieces are then fastened onto one another using hardwood joints which then form helix-like curls similar to that of a pulled coil.
Odd as it may, the seat does offer seating for two via its flat horizontal tops.
The bench is available in natural pale and dark-stained versions, all credited to Neulhae Cho. With the said bench, Cho was able to create something to bridge function and form with a product this is both practical and a piece of art.
