HAMAR midbeam on this bed keeps the mattress in place and secures the cross-braces. It is included in the price, but is packaged separately. All the bed storage boxes fit under the bed. The bedframe is made out of Particleboard, Foil, ABS plastic. The midbeam is made out of galvanized steel.
