But thanks to competition, most companies have to act on how to get rid of inventory at times and it is in these cases that not so old beds and mattresses have to go, even if it means sacrificing profit at times.
(Source) Americans spend $20 billion a year on sleep-related products and services, according to Business 2.0 magazine. But unit sales were up just 1 percent from January to September this year, according to the International Sleep Products Association. Total spending on bedding was up 5 percent for the same period.
