Picking up from their “Most Likely to Succeed” Award, Lumiette has launched its flat panel lighting line. With most consumers looking at the various options when it comes to going green and likewise improving on their current home setting, these flat panel lightings can be a great add to the home and business setting.
Lumiette is thinking beyond the bulb, and has developed a Flat Panel Lamp (FPL) which consumes 75 percent less energy than the incandescent light bulb, lasts five times longer than the compact fluorescent lamp, is more attractive, affordable, and suitable for a range of commercial, industrial, and residential applications. While the lamp’s base technology is familiar fluorescent, its form factor is novel; essentially flat sheets of luminous glass, powered by external electrodes.
