Sleep Deprivation In Women

An article on the website 13wham talks about how shows more than half of American women suffer from sleep deprivation. A Sleep Center has been interviewing women and some of the responses were:

Judith Lampson said, “My mind races. I think about all the things I did today. What am I going to do tomorrow? Pretty soon your mind is just running. I started out with 25 milligrams, then your build up a tolerance to that. Then you end up taking 50, sometimes 100 if 50 doesn’t work,” she said.

According to Dr. Donald Greenblatt from Strong Sleep Disorders Center “”If women are burning the candle at both ends, if women are stressed, are working hard, the first thing they give up is sleep.”

He also states: The bed is reserved for two activities and two activities only: sleep and sex,”
