IKARUS waxlamp
IKARUS is based on the idea of visualizing electricity. A structure of stainless steel and steel is granted into the cone-shaped lampshade which consists of pure wax (paraffin) for stabilizing and holding the lampshade. A light is centrally situated inside the lamp and causes the wax-skin to melt as a result of the warmth produced so that over the course of time the lampshade will liquefy from the inside to the outside and will transform itself on the surface below. The melting process will takes a whole month.
