River Valley Headboard

If you have a son, you know how much they like to collect things. Maybe they like to collect books, maybe it’s a variety of animals, or maybe they like to collect baseball caps. Maybe they’re into action figures, or maybe they like to grab whatever dirty rock they can find outside and bring it into their bedrooms. The simple truth of the matter is that the majority of young boys like to have as many things around them as they can, whether their parents like it or not. One way to keep things organized is to get a wood headboard that doubles as a bookcase!

A wood headboard such as the River Valley Bookcase Headboard is ideal children’s bedroom furniture. This headboard is like the older style of bookcase headboards, with a slight twist: the flat panel actually moves from side to side. You can rest it in the middle of the headboard, to display things on both sides, or you can slide it one way or the other, to protect your child’s precious belongings inside. It has plenty of room for a number of different collections, including books and action figures, and even has a good deal of display room on the top, as the shelf is designed to give children plenty of room to put their favorite things on display.

Created by South Shore Furniture, the furniture company known for creating amazing children’s bedroom furniture, this is one headboard that is designed to do much more than just look pretty. It is available only in the twin size and comes in the golden oak finish, which is easy to match up to your other furniture in your child’s room. It makes a great spare bed once the young ones leave the nest as well!
