Ross Furniture Showroom

From a bowling alley to a now alluring furniture showroom, Ross Furniture has set its sights towards providing better home and bedroom design choices by transforming a former bowling alley into a virtual showroom of furniture aimed at attracting home owners who are looking for something unique for their homes.

It is a fact that most people today put value into their home shopping and apparently, Ross Furniture has a lot to offer. While the place holds a historical past due to its familiar place in Dover, customers can now find something different and perhaps useful to place in their homes to meet home design and furniture requirements they long for today.

It is exactly this commitment to the store’s tradition that gives Ross Furniture the leverage to compete during a time when chain retailers and box stores are extending their reach into Dover, Howard said.

Howard said he thinks there is a place for locally owned retailers, and customers will continue to shop at the store because it fills a niche that is otherwise nearly empty.

“I don’t see the box stores hurting us because we’re different than anybody else,” Howard said.
