Sarah Palin Installed a Tanning Bed

The political battle in the US is getting uglier and now Republican VP candidate has come under attack. Apparently Sarah Palin installed a $35,000 tanning bed in the governor’s mansion in 2007.  However her supporters are quick to point out that it was from her own pocket and not the taxpayer’s income.

However the true irony is that Palin lambasting tanning beds during Skin Cancer Awareness Month in Alaska.

“Skin cancer is caused, overwhelmingly, by over-exposure to ultraviolet radiation from the sun and from tanning beds.”

    So why get political and alienate about half of your audience?
    Tanning "beds" are no more related to sleep bedding than are flower "beds" but that tenuous link was used to vent a political opinion.
    Come on, leave politics to the other web sites.
  • I did a quick search and found a slew of used tanning beds, as low as $400, lots in the $1200 to $1500 range. Looks like the socialists are frantically grabbing for any scandal they can fake up.
