Why are Hospital Beds Lacking?

Health and medical services never had it so bad when it comes to providing beds for their incoming patients. While many people never foresaw the large volume that we see in most hospitals and medical institutions today, the need to expand and provide more beds has been a continuing issue for some years now.
Apparently, a lot of people are getting sick and babies being born. Unlike in the early years, hospital beds were seen to be sufficient until the sudden boom in health-related problems that has a lot of people trooping to the hospital today.
We see long queues for patients who need attention in hospitals. But look a little bit closer and you may find yourself in a line for available hospital bed accommodations as well.
“There’s simply not enough beds for the number of women having the babies they must do something about building another facility for the well women and that they don’t seem to be able to grasp,” says Karen Guilliland of the College of Midwives.
