Hammocks are for relaxing time…. fun times… indoor and outdoors… this hammock looks very nice…. some are more comfortable than others….. I love hammocks, not only for the fun of them but as part of decoration..you can see a variety at http://www.honeymoonhammocks.com

You can also hang it from two pilars if you have them in your patio/lanai.

I agree with you in this specific hammock, although is beautiful, I don’t think it will be very comfortable to sleep in it for too long. Some other hammocks are made of cotton or polyester and better for long periods of time.
A hammock in many Latin American countries is used as a regular bed.
