Here is a cool looking lighting solution. Called the Blop Lamp is something you can actually do on your own. Just get some paint swatches and cut them into coffin-like shapes and mold them together with some plastic rivets.
You may be surprised that after you do these things, you will get a colorful but bizarre blob of a lamp that can morph into all sorts of shapes. At least you don’t have to worry about lamps blending in!
