Christmas is rapidly approaching. Have you figured out yet what you are going to get your wife? You could always go for a new vacuum cleaner or a kitchen gadget. Or you could do something entirely different. Something that will give you massive bonus points with your wife. Something that will make you a hero. You could buy her a new bed.

“A new bed?” you might be thinking. “But we already have a bed. Why should I buy a new one?” For starters, if you’ve had your bed over 15 years it is definitely time to get a new one, especially if you have had the same mattress. Dust mites and other microscopic germs love to rest in mattresses, and bed frames that aren’t built solidly lose some of their stability as time goes on.

A new bed is an excellent gift, especially if your wife is having back or leg trouble. A new bed and box spring and mattress might be just what she needs to alleviate the pain. Every woman loves to decorate and re-decorate her home, and by giving her a new bed you will be giving her a good reason to do some redecorating in your bedroom. Not sure what she likes? Take an innocent trip to the mall or Furniture Store. Modern or Traditional, Wood or Wrought Iron, King Size or Queen Size. Watch a television show and remark on whether you like the bed or not. Keep an eye on what she likes and look for it to purchase later! I promise you she’ll be happy you did and so will you!
