The Highpost Bed retails for $3600 (Queen Size) and is available for purchase here. The four poster bed has four birds perched on the cherry posts to make it more ornamental or freaky (in my case). The bed has Cherry headboard, ash rails, and poplar slats; clear satin Italian lacquer finish. Mattress and bedding not included

I could never undertand why high poles or posts would come with a bed. It does make a difference in design but the thing is people would rather focus on comfort rather than design at times. But to each his own right?
