David Hasselhoff Selling His Home

David Hasselhoff who grew to fame with the legendary Knightrider series back in the 80’s is reportedly selling his 9,770 square foot home in Encino, California. His home has 5 bedrooms, a gym, a master bedroom suite, tennis courts and a pool with waterfall and spa.

For a Hollywood star, Hasselhoff’s pad is really something boggling. The estate is reportedly worth about $5.95 million. It makes you wonder why he is selling his home, seemingly like the dream home anyone would want to retire in.

The private estate is entered through double gates. There’s a two-story living room with high ceilings, lavish dining room, gourmet kitchen and a master bedroom suite with a fireplace and mahogany floors. There are his-and-her bathrooms and walk-in closets. The home has a gym and an elevator, which would seem to serve cross purposes. A grotto-style pool with a waterfall and spa, as well as lighted tennis courts, complete the playground.

Mogul Revives Sexy Interiors and Home Designs

For people who want classic interiors and home designs, the ideas are best inherited from the people who have already made their mark. For people like Mogul designer Thomas Pisicitello, adding a sexy pitch towards modern designs that people have been used to is a good business transition that can be both stylish and catchy.

So if you have seen those past alluring designs, check out Mogul’s new Haute Hollywood 2008 collection. You are bound to find something familiar and of course worthy to purchase with the right funds.

“The store is warm and very, very sexy with that Gucci-Tom Ford influence,” Piscitello said. “I live in his clothes and he could definitely live in this store. They have the same feeling. We’re all reading off the same page.”

Mogul opened in November 2005 and is Piscitello and Wagner’s second retail venture. The first was Belux, a more classically oriented design shop that opened in 2001 and was run by the designers before being sold to their furniture manufacturing partners in 2005.

“We wanted to do a new spin on the classic old Hollywood style and make it more modern,” Piscitello said of the difference between the old and the new store’s aesthetic. “We took Mid-century elements and then changed them a bit to create a new eclectic mix with a strong fashion influence.”

One thing that is normally misinterpreted is the manner to which famous fashion designers would live. For famous fashion designers like Veronica Etro, many would be surprised at how she visualizes her home and how elegant yet logical her definition of a good home is.

“For me, a house is all about your life, your character, who you are,” she says. “So I find it very difficult to hide who I am – it just comes out in the things I buy.” Which is why there is plenty of fun and colour about. On the wall, amid antique, Greek, Japanese and pretty English plates, hangs a plain white one with a plaster-of-Paris fried egg stuck to it, and another bearing the faces of Grace Kelly and Prince Rainier. “It’s kitsch, I know, but they make me laugh,” she smiles, slightly embarrassed. Ditto the Cath Kidston cowboy fabric on Filippo’s bed, the Ingo Maurer heart-shaped red lamp on her bedside, the drawing of Alice In Wonderland, Frida Kahlo-style, in her bedroom, with a blank face and single black eyebrow.

Last week, Nicole Kidman gave birth to her biological daughter, Sunday Rose and hasn’t been seen since then. It wasn’t until July 16 that she was spotted at a mattress shop in Nashville apparently looking for new mattresses for her or her child. She was seen going in and out of the store with her husband Keith Urban.

Being the first biological child of Kidman, perhaps she is simply looking out for the welfare of her baby. And one good thing to do is to look for the best mattress in town where she and their baby can rest well. Besides, she has the money to buy one so for sure she will be open to the best bed mattress available in the market today.

The model proudly showed off her residence in a recent episode of Cribs, giving viewers a glimpse of her eye-searing decor and well-stocked champagne rack.

Explaining the interior design, she said: ‘I’ve got a big red carpet all the way down the middle of the hallway, so it’ll be like a movie premiere every day!

‘The master bedroom is bright pink with silver and the wallpaper is suede pink. It’s so sexy, with lots of mirrors and beautiful silk sheets.’

We all overlook the value of a good bed. To most people, as long as it can be laid upon, nothing else matters. It is this kind of attitude that makes us wonder what makes the higher priced and luxurious beds different from the cheap standard ones we see in the market today.

The investment you make on beds is important. We all have our own ways of working hard and mostly we find ourselves on the go. Beds are different in terms of quality and make. While we want to design our homes, it would be best to stop a while and see how beds can be given the same level of importance as far as getting quality rest from it is concerned.

“As soon as you look in the room, you want the bed to be the focal point,” said interior designer Danie Dunn, owner of Danie Dunn Designs, in Kansas City, Mo. “People spend more money on their kitchen and don’t even know how to cook. Your bedroom should be your most important priority.”

Sure, it’s important that your bed fit the room and your body. But beyond all practical considerations, a bed is the one furnishing in your home that needs to be, well, fabulous.

“You want it luxurious,” Dunn said. “You want that at-home-in-your-castle feeling. You’re the queen.”

One thing you have to consider is the fact that lucky people such as Katie Price and Peter Andre can afford to give their kids the type of bedroom design and living that is fit for royalty. Such is an automatic practice for most people today when it comes to giving only the best for your kids.

Both have commissioned baby boutique Petit Tresnor to come up with a unique and speculative designs for their three kids. They want unique designs for the nurseries for their kids. It will indeed cost but rest assured that they have stressed already that the “Sky is the Limit!”

The couple have reportedly approached baby boutique Petit Tresnor about creating bespoke bedrooms for their three children.

Earlier in the month, the couple revealed they were considering the move with the hope of finding better medical treatment for oldest son Harvey’s hormonal condition and even though they’ve yet to finalise their plans or find a home, they’re said to have approached Petit Tresnor about speculative designs.
