We are always on a lookout for quirky iPhone docks and the Habitco Day Maker alarm clock/charging station/toaster certainly fits the bill. Designed like a toaster, the dock ensures that the iPhone pops up in the morning to wake you up from slumberland. The Nixie Ramos is every sleepyheads worst nightmare. Unlike ordinary alarm clocks, this one doesn’t have the convenient snooze button and according to some it is the “world’s most persistent alarm clock”. Since, there is no reset button and on unplugging it, the clock operates from battery, it can only by stopped in two ways. The first one includes smashing it to pieces, but we would avoid that, given the $350 price tag. The second  way is to use the wireless keypad, which is placed in another and then type in the day’s date.

This is why I really liked the idea of the Chirp Alarm Clock that comes with a vibrating clip, that can be attached onto a pillow, a shirt etc. When its time to wake up and face the world, the clip starts vibrating and one just needs to clip it back onto the base.
