Now, the lamp is still pinned to a corkboard but bigger. And the result is this push pin lamp that provides lighting whose base is made of cork where you can still post your messages and reminders.

And now it looks like they are making a comeback, courtesy of lighting firms such as Mathmos which are aiming to bring back the glory years of lava lamps with some twists.

For their part, they are unveiling some lava lamps which should perk up that room or home in no time. Among them include the Fireflow lamps which will be available this coming Fall in four neon colors including a glittery version.

Other versions include the O1 model which will cost around $60and the R1 which will set you back just under $50.

As far as ink cartridges are concerned, the usual routine is to recycle them or have them refilled. But for the creative minds, here is a new way to make use of those empty printer cartridges, an ink cartridge lamp that should be add some ambiance to the ordinary room.

Ink cartridges get tossed in the trash plenty, so one Etsy seller decided to reuse those and turn them into a new form of technology. These small lamps might not be bright enough to read by, but if you are going to spend the money for novelty lights, you might as well pick up ones that are recycled. That way it’s a little more eco-friendly.
