If you watch ITV1’s 60 Minute Makeover, you might have noticed Click 4 Beds was mentioned as one of the show’s suppliers in the new series. On Thursday 10th September, Click 4 Beds appeared on the show after donating a super king size bed for the Bromley, Kent episode of the new series.

Click 4 Beds gave 60 Minute Makeover the OBC Marseille Metal Bed Frame for the main bedroom. The OBC Marseille is a ivory metal bed frame made from cast metal with a glossy finish. It is inspired by a French style, and has an arched top rail on the head and footend with moulded detail, and each post is finished with a finial.

The episode that Click 4 Beds donated a bed for featured Isadora who had suffered from health problems since retiring as a midwife and her daughters decided she needed cheering up, and that a suprise home makeover would be just what she needed.

The 60 Minute Makeover team said: “We have really appreciated your support throughout – thank you so much for all your help and for being so great to deal with. I hope you agree that your products worked well within the makeover.”

It’s a real shame because it’s such as unique and dramatic bed that has a very individual design. Since it’s such a versatile bed, we thought that suggesting some alternative beds would be a good idea, so that our customers don’t have to worry about finding another one similer.

The Birlea Tetras has the same wooden finish and silver detailing, and is just as modern and stylish…it’s also quite a bit cheaper, but it does have slatted ends rather than solid. Another similar bed that isn’t as expensive is the Heartlands Amber that also has the wood and silver design, and a slatted head and foot end.

For a slight twist on the desin, the Heartlands Wiltshire has more wooden features than the other two and a verry square design.

If it’s the Joseph Kinda you have your heart set on, you’d better place your order fast because it won’t be available anywhere soon!

Joseph Kinda Discontinued

Joseph Anica Discontinued

We’re always updating our website and making sure we provide the best service to our customers. Maintaining our products is key to ensure we keep out customers updated and while updating our products we discovered that the Joseph Anica is to be discontinued.

It’s a rather unique looking bed with a silver metal frame and white head end, it’s pretty slick and modern and there aren’t that many similar beds around, which makes it a real shame.

Saying that, we had a good look at our entire product range and found some similar looking beds to suggest to our customers. Joseph actually do similar beds and the Joseph Kava has the same modern style with a silver metal frame but features a dark head end.

If the darker wood doesn’t suit your bedroom, you may like the Joseph Arizona with its silver metal frame and black base.

You may also be interested in the Hyder Manhattan, although it doesn’t have the extra head detailing, it has a modern silver frame and a simple but contemporary design.

Why not take a look through our entire metal bed section and maybe you’ll find something else that catches your eye, as we have a great range of metal beds in different styles.

Joseph Anica Discontinued

Joseph Morocco Discontinued

While updating the products on our website we found that unfortunately the Joseph Morroco will be being discontinued soon. It’s a really pretty wooden bed with a simple curved design that has just enough detail without going over the top. It’s also extremely well priced considering the excellent quality.

Since the Joseph Morroco is one of our most popular beds, we thought it would be useful for us to recommend some similar beds to our customers.

If it’s bed by Joseph you particularly want, the Joseph Aborro is new for 2009 and has a similar oak finish with some slight detailing, although it does have a linear design rather than curved. Another suggested bed from this manufacturer is the Joseph Elle, again it is finished with the same oak and this one has the curved design, but features slatted head and foot ends rather than solid.

We’d also recommend the Birlea Kendall, as it has an oak finish a beautiful curved style, although it doesn’t have any detailing and is quite a simple design.

You should also have a browse through our wooden bed range and maybe something else will catch your eye, we have a fantastic selection of different wooden bed styles, all at great prices.

If it’s the Joseph Morroco you’re really after, you’d best hurry up because it won’t be for sale anywhere soon!

We recently started selling the beautiful Birlea range on our website and they’ve proven to be extremely popular with our customers. To be honest, we’re not suprised by their popularity.

Birlea beds really offer excellent value for money, they have stunning designs, superb quality frames and are really affordable. What makes them even more popular is that the range on offer is fantastic with everything from metal beds and leather beds to wooden beds and children’s beds.

So you can imagine our dissapointment when Birlea discontinued one of their metal beds – the Birlea Aztec. It was a very modern and stylishly designed bed with a stunning black and chrome finish. Since the Birlea beds have proven so popular, we thought suggesting an alternative Birlea bed to the Birlea Aztec would be useful for our customers.

The Birlea Montana is a great alternative to thie discontinued Aztec with its black and chrome finish, clean and simple lines, and square designed head and foot end. The Birlea Faro also has the black and chrome style but has a vertical design rather than a square, and from just £119 it’s a real bargain.
