Englander Launches Organic Mattresses
0 Comments Published by brian yalung July 29th, 2008 in Bed Designs, Mattress, Memory Foam.By being environmentally responsible and using bio-based foams has been the two things that Englander is banking on as it sets to offer its organic mattress line to consumers who want something eco-friendly as far as bed requirements are concerned.
Englander joins the ranks of many companies trying to go eco-friendly and with resources available in its native land, it all boils down to a matter of using them that include wool, cotton, natural rubber latex and sustainable wood parts.
Besides, it’s all about sleeping soundly. With organic mattresses, this can be done with the right choice of eco-friendly materials.

“We can show our customers these products are certified,” Warshaver said. “The consumer who wants organic products doesn’t want games. This is not a price issue, it’s an integrity issue.”
The four beds in Englander’s Nature’s Finest Organic Sleep Systems line incorporate varying amounts of latex. An innerspring bed with two inches of latex retails at $1,999, while an innerspring model with four inches of latex retails at $2,499. A latex core bed with six inches of latex retails at $2,999, while the top model has eight inches of latex and retails at $3,499.

Five Star Mattresses for Reasonable Pricing
0 Comments Published by brian yalung July 8th, 2008 in BED News, Home Designs, Mattress, Memory Foam, News.
In a world where finance and pricing are obviously two erratic words today, bed manufacturer Five Star Mattress has followed a different route, trying to become consumer-friendly and cutting down on its retail prices. Just when most companies today are trying desperately to determine how to offset raw materials and operation costs, here is a company that is going the opposite direction.
A professional business expert would call it suicide or perhaps a product of inferior quality. But on a business strategy aspect, it is a brilliant move to capture a majority of the bedding market. Surely it will garner a large chunk of the pie but hopefully, it will not sink its teeth in the overall production cost and provide profits.
“This is not a temporary rollback, but new, more competitive pricing that will rock the industry, providing higher margins for dealers than was ever thought possible,” she said. “We are making a big push to gain additional business. We are the only producer in the industry that is lowering prices.”
