In fact, Tetris is not the only inspiration as company founder and CEO Ruke lists Legos and Transformers as his source of inspiration as well. The modular furniture system is all about versatility and the basic building block is a ¾” mdf panel, that is available in a multitude of shapes and sizes. The lamp showcases a human being figure as the body of the lamp, the body of which is made from fibreglass. The body is clothed with traditional Kuwaiti clothing, same as the lampshade. To turn it on, you have to shake the hand of the lamp body.

For sure you may have used the steps or stairs to sit on during one occasion or another. And it looks like that idea has given designer Geof Ramsay had this in mind with the Staircase Seating Systems.

One could only imagine how awkward and lacking in comfort sitting on the steps would be but if you had a cushion of sorts such as this one, they all that may change. Consisting of just three footfalls, Ramsay was able to come up with an odd seating design that places stairs on a different light.

The bed frame is IKEA’s SKORVA midbeam and  is included in the price but is picked up separately.
