Ikea Chill Out
So you’re feeling hot and want to get a place to rest….where do you go? Home? That’d cause you to switch on the air conditioning and the fan and waste electricity. How about the mall? No, then you’d have to spend money buying ice-cream for the kids and watching wifey buy more things and you don’t get to rest at all.
How about….IKEA? Yeap, that’s what the Chinese in China are doing. They’re going to IKEA to rest. With the beds and comfortable couches, it’s actually a pretty damned practical place to rest, if you don’t mind the stares. These Chinese guys sure don’t. I’m impressed.

I have to admit I have “rested” in IKEA before but only long enough for my wife to catch up to me around the store.

Oh, I have to mention how nice when you look at the view from the cafeteria of IKEA Emeryville, CA.
