How Often Do you Change Alarm Clocks?
0 Comments Published by brian yalung November 11th, 2007 in Alarm Clock, BED Accesorries.
One of the most dreadful sounds people usually hear when it is time to get up is that of a ringing alarm clock going like crazy. People have a choice, get up or put it on snooze option. Some even throw their alarm clock or bang it to stop ringing. The result? Well a busted alarm clock which needs to be replaced.
People have a hard time getting up at times. If given the choice they would just stay in bed and lay down comfortably. But the reality is we have to get up at times. And it is only our alarm clocks that can remind us of that.
So given the scenario, chances are we have to change alarm clocks every once in a while since we too are responsible for destroying it. It may sound crazy but the thing is, it is a reality to some people who have made it a habit. Ever wonder how many alarm clocks you buy to replace destroyed ones? Try to check out for yourself.

Usually I hate spending money on clocks but would definitely make an exception for the uber funky Yoshitomo Nara Clock. The clock will not only tell time but also hone your atistic sensibilities. Have 84 unique drawings by the artist, one for each hour and one for every minute! Each passing minute “flips” over to reveal a new drawing!

You’ll have to get up when this little baby starts, because it takes off and flies round the room, making a really annoying noise like a mosquito,
so you’ll have to find it first, before you can turn it off. Even if you hit the snooze button, it will take off again, so it will undoubtedly get you out of bed, though of course it might smash the place up a bit before you catch it, and if you sleep with the windows open you might find yourself running round the garden in your jimjams (no way to wake up) and may frighten the neighbourhood dogs.
Online Alarm Clock
0 Comments Published by colbert October 3rd, 2007 in Alarm Clock, BED Technology. This ultrasimple freeware program allows you to set up alarms for each day of the week, but its bland interface is a snoozer. With Alarm Clock, just set alarm times (one for each day of the week or just one single alarm for the entire week), choose an MP3 or a WAV file or use the default for each of your alarms, and hit Set Alarms.
You can even set a snooze interval. When the alarm triggers, you’ll hear your music file or the annoying old-school bell default option. The program, while functional and easy to understand, doesn’t let you personalize a display message when an alarm triggers, so Alarm Clock’s simple greeting of “”Hello!”" has to suffice. If you need a no-nonsense alarm clock for your PC, this program provides a nice wake-up call.
The LEXON “Long Clock Radio” takes the art of waking you up seriously. Housed in wood and aluminum, one comes across a grey-on-black LCD, stereo speakers and MP3 support. You can order it online here for £55.31 vat inc.
Fashion clocks aren’t necessarily the highest form of technology, but that’s not to say we don’t value them: alarm clocks are after all one of the first things you see in the morning, so why shouldn’t it be an aesthetically attractive one? Furni’s ALBA beech wood and acrylic clock definitely falls into the latter category, with its minimalist mix of old and new materials being particularly pleasing on the eye. At only $88, it’s also happily on the affordable end of the fashion clock chart. As part of Furni’s spring ‘07 range, the ALBA will be shipping on June 1, and you can pre-order now.

Darth Vader Projector Alarm Clock
0 Comments Published by Tanya September 14th, 2007 in Alarm Clock, BED Gadgets.Star Wars junkies, here is another memorabilia to add to your collection. However the Darth Vader Projector Alarm Clock actually has a purpose and won’t just sit pretty. The clock is pretty cool (strictly in a geeky way) as it projects time as well as the Vader Name. The red glowing snooze button doubles as a nightlight and even sports a figural Vader with saber. You can order it online here.
