Most of have a love and hate relationship with our Alarm Clock. For me its mostly hate as I despise the jarring sounds I have to wake up to! This is the no. 10^th alarm clock, the Sfera alarm clock. The specialty of this clock is that it is hangs from the ceiling above your bed. So when the alarm goes off, you can reach up and touch it and it has then activate the snooze function causing it retract towards the ceiling. Then when snooze goes off again, you have to reach higher to activate the snooze again and each time you activate the snooze function the alarm retracts a little higher to the point that you get your butt out of bed. No I swear I did not make this up and the clock launches a rotor into the air, and then pretty much flies around your bedroom when the alarm rings! Flying Alarm Clock

Here’s a cool alarm clock that cooks a piece of bacon to wake you up right.

A frozen strip of bacon is placed in Wake n’ Bacon the night before. Because there is a 10 minute cooking time, the clock is set to go off 10 minutes before the desired waking time. Once the alarm goes off, the clock it sends a signal to a small speaker to generate the alarm sound. We hacked the clock so that the signal is re-routed by a microchip that in responds by sending a signal to a relay that throws the switch to power two halogen lamps that slow-cook the bacon in about 10 minutes.
