The RUBRIK Door from IKEA looks extremley sturdy and is also quite easy to install. The door can be mounted to open from the left or right however the hinges re sold separately. It also requires a a knob or a handle and is made of stainless steel,particleboard and  melamine foil. You can buy it for $68.00 from the IKEA US website.
