Philips “My Heart” Sensor Beds

Health is very delicate issue these days and proper monitoring is normally left towards these medical contraptions that monitor our various internal body organs. While some people are pretty much hooked on them, it remains that new technology will always bring out something new, especially for the people who could care less of where they lay on.
Philips has developed a sensor bed called “My Heart”, to help keep track of healthy living. As far as monitoring the overall health of a patient is concerned, this bed can keep track of changes so that sudden surges of abnormal activity crucial to their state can easily be pinpointed before it gets out of hand.
Electronics giant Philips is all set to create a sensor bed that keeps a close watch on the health of heart failure patients, a project being funded by the European Union.
One of the aims of the ‘My Heart’ project is to help spot heart problems several days before they become life threatening, reports said.

Barrow Opens New Dreams Bed Store

Leading bed specialist, Dreams has reportedly moved to Barrow’s Hollywood and has announced a half price sale over the next weekend. They will move in with the Klaussner furniture shop. Dreams has been inactive over the past year but will now start to operate once more starting March 7.
Managing director of Dreams, Nick Worthington, said: “We are really excited about our new Dreams store in Barrow. It is a great location and we have had a really positive response.
“We hope lots of people will come down and join us next weekend so we can give our new customers a better night’s sleep.”
The store will offer a massive choice of divan sets, bedsteads, adjustable beds, children’s beds and mattresses, plus duvets, pillows, bed linen and bedroom furniture.
Dreams celebrated its 20th anniversary last year and now employs more than 1,400 staff.
