Every time winter comes, people find themselves finding many alternatives to be able to get the proper heat and warmth to fight off the chills of cold weather that the winter brings. Some would turn up their thermostats a notch to ensure that they don’t get frost bite or find themselves chilling and their teeth grinding from the cold.
When in bed, people will still need blankets to go along with the warmer thermostat settings. But with Sunbeam Heated Bedding, their blankets can do everything without the help of the usual home thermostat we have today.
“According to the recent predictions by the NEADA for Winter 2007/2008, we estimate that consumers can save more than $180 on heating oil costs and over $170 on propane costs if they use Sunbeam(R) heated bedding while sleeping. Turning down the thermostat a few degrees and supplementing with a heated blanket can make a real difference on heating bills this upcoming season and for many winters to come.”

Some even go as far as traveling from 8 to 12 hours and this could be very tiring if one tries to go about it without sleep.
Thanks to brainstorming and some ideal suggestions by management teams of airlines such as British Airline BMI, offering flat beds has made them preferable over the rest. The key towards easy living and resting easy usually lies on how technology has invaded your bedroom. By technology, I am of course referring to the various gadgets that have invaded the home, particularly the bedroom.
For example, remote-controlled devices in the bedroom makes people move less. They can practically lay down and just push a single button. There are also the touch lamps where a simple tap can brighten up the room in an instant. This and all other new introductions of technology have made life easier and sad to say, lazier for most people today.
Can you think of one technology endorsed device which you have in your room today? For sure there are plenty!

Online Alarm Clock
0 Comments Published by colbert October 3rd, 2007 in Alarm Clock, BED Technology. This ultrasimple freeware program allows you to set up alarms for each day of the week, but its bland interface is a snoozer. With Alarm Clock, just set alarm times (one for each day of the week or just one single alarm for the entire week), choose an MP3 or a WAV file or use the default for each of your alarms, and hit Set Alarms.
You can even set a snooze interval. When the alarm triggers, you’ll hear your music file or the annoying old-school bell default option. The program, while functional and easy to understand, doesn’t let you personalize a display message when an alarm triggers, so Alarm Clock’s simple greeting of “”Hello!”" has to suffice. If you need a no-nonsense alarm clock for your PC, this program provides a nice wake-up call.
