This time, the bookcase was made using salvaged wood from old Chinese riverboats that more or less is responsible for the make they eventually come finished in. The bookcase comes with slanted dividers which makes the whole thing a lot more odd and interesting and can even be made into a room divider due to its light weight. This sustainable reclaimed wood collection, designed by LDK, includes a golden plaque on each piece indicating the age and origin of the wood used. Just in case you are in the market for some new bookshelfs, the Dickens bookshelves by Fashion for Home may be a cool and eco-friendly alternative. The bookshelf design comes from Reinhard Deines, making use of durable cardboards to address your organization and storage requirements. They offer different sized compartments molded in a retro-like and rounded manner. And since they are made from cardboard, it is practically automatic to expect them to be recyclable. Whatever the case may be, the Dickens cardboard bookshelves should be a neat addition to your home, especially if you want to do away with the clutter!
I like this concept of where you go, your chair follows! This foldable cardboard stool can carry a person who is up to 90 kg (that’s roughly 180 lbs)and provides respite from those dirty public benches! According to the manufacturer no glues and chemicals are used to set up the stool. This is a great way to carry a portable chair with you everywhere as it doesn’t weight that much and also saves the environment over portable steel chairs and whatnot. What a great idea, I want one. This foldable cardboard stool can carry a person who is up to 90 kg (that’s roughly 180 lbs)and provides respite from those dirty public benches! According to the manufacturer no glues and chemicals are used to set up the stool.

Here is a different kind of a bed. It is made of cardboard, something that we normally use to hold items and gadgets. We will notice that their materials are quite sturdy and depending on the weight, they can be made into good beds if we really put our imagination to work. For kids, it is a good bed to make, especially if they don’t have their actual ones yet. Cover it up with a couple of sheets and you are sure to get something good out of it. It comes in several widths from 90 to 160cm and in two versions one for a futon, ideal as a guest bed, and one for a regular mattress. It is a label from Switzerland that has ‘designed and produced compact and flexible furniture for young and mobile urbanites since 1997. The label has been created by the two architects Valérie Jomini and Stanislas Zimmermann.’ (Source) Treehugger Cardboard Beds
