The Rocket Launcher Alarm Clock is yet another clock that gets the job done. On the desired set time, the alarm begins a countdown. If the unsuspecting owner doesn’t haul himself out of bed in time, the rocket gets launched and one has to find where the rocket has landed to silence the alarm.

Carpet Alarm Clock

For instance check out the Carpet Alarm Clock, which only shuts off by stepping on it! If you are the stubborn type, then place the carpet really far away from the bed.

Making Furniture Designs out of Barrels
1 Comment Published by brian yalung September 27th, 2008 in Home Appliances, Home Designs, Kitchen, Livingroom, Recycled, decorating.
We are all aware that some furniture designs normally originate from creativity and resourcefulness. Apparently, barrels which are familiar to us as containers for perhaps wine are overlooked once their contents are consumed. Where are they to go? For sure, dismantling them and perhaps making them firewood for some may be ideal but in both counts, you are hitting the garbage and the pollution problem if these are the actual things you have in mind.
But if you are like Jonathan Black, who has the knack for transforming barrels into something useful and unique, maybe you too can think of a good design and use for barrels often referred only as storage.
A bistro table or a hanging pot rack? A barrel head serving tray or a lazy Susan?
A carved clock or a wall cabinet?
“I’ve been doing this so long now I can take a barrel, look at that barrel, walk around it and look at all the different staves on the top and the bottom and determine exactly what product that barrel is going to make — how it is best served,” he claims.

The Tantrum Alarm Clock
3 Comments Published by Tanya September 23rd, 2008 in Alarm Clock, BED FUN, BED Gadgets.
The Tantrum Alarm Clock basically throws mmm a tantrum when not listened to. Right before the selected wake up time, the clock’s feet and body starts glowing, and when the alarm sounds, it begins tapping its arms lightly.
However this is just the beginning and soon as the snooze sensor is touched by more than one minute, it launches into its full tantrum routine and turns off after an hour of unabated whining. Now who would like to mess with something like that?

Da Vinci Alarm Clock
0 Comments Published by Tanya September 18th, 2008 in Alarm Clock, BED FUN, BED Gadgets, BED Home. The Da Vinci Alarm Clock has a Dot Matrix display, which will either show “Awake”, or “Sleep”. The idea behind this avant garde clock is that it wants to help the user achieve 3.5/.5 sleep schedule devised by the Da Vinci himself. Sounds good in theory but highly impractical.
Designer Marc Owens explains his clock as follows: “The Da Vinci Alarm Clock works on a very basic system. The Dot Matrix display will always show either Sleep or Awake. When the product is first switched on the display will immediately show the word Awake. This will continue to be displayed for 3 hours at 30 minutes. At this point the clock display will change to show the word Sleep and a high-pitched alarm will signal this change in state.

Rubik’s Cube Alarm Clock with Thermometer
0 Comments Published by Tanya August 22nd, 2008 in Alarm Clock, BED FUN, BED Gadgets, BED Home.Personally I have never been able to solve the Rubik cube hence my complete delight to come across the Rubik’s Cube Alarm Clock with Thermometer. Twist the top row, and the display changes between time, temperature, alarm or date. You can order it from here.
The Silence alarm clock doesn’t wake you up with a jarring noise or some cheesy jingle. The concept is simple and quite innovative. Just wear the wireless rubber ring that comes equipped vibration device that produces a tactile alarm.
