The Gun o’ Clock
0 Comments Published by Tanya September 2nd, 2008 in Alarm Clock, BED FUN, BED Gadgets.
Most of us have fantasized about smashing our clocks early in the morning. The Gun o’ Clock hence is a dream come true! The only way to stop the alarm is to use the included gun, which features infra-red technology. It’s available from Bandai though no word on pricing yet.“Gun o’ Clock has two modes: In the time mode, the clock will wake users up with a normal alarm sound but also a voice message (”Come on!”, in English). Then, a shooting mark will pop out of the clock’s body. Only if the still sleepy user takes the infra-red gun into his hands and shoots the mark the beeping and taunting will stop.”

Alarm clocks are so passé especially when one can get their hands on the Life Clock. Not for the vain this one keeps a track of your life. More specifically the clock’s numbers represents years elapsed since birth. Designed by Bertrand Planes, the clock is a reminder on how time passes us by and teaches us not to take life for granted.

Getting out of bed is a pain especially in the mornings! To make this transition smoother Hammacher Schlemmer have the Peaceful Progression Wake Up Clock! Yes that is what its called as it doesn’t make those god- awful alarm sounds. Instead it uses ambient light, stimulating aromas, and nature inspired sounds! While we admire the clock’s innovative stance, getting out of bed will still remain a pain!
“More gentle than the jarring noise of traditional alarms, this clock uses a gradual increase in ambient light, stimulating aromas, and peaceful sounds from nature to awaken sleepers. Easy to use, simply set the desired wake up time, place some aromatherapy beads (included) into the aroma bowl, and choose a natural sound setting. Thirty minutes before wake-up, the clocks light begins to glow softly, subtly brightening over the next half hour.”
