The thought of cooking in any form makes me run in the other direction. However if the “Cooking in the Future” concept by Ludovic Peperstraete ever becomes a reality, I may just become the next Top Chef. Designed for Electrolux, the main concept is to retain the texture of the food by utilizing two laser beams.
In the name of space constraints we have seen a number of design monstrosities. However looks like Electrolux is having none of it and we simply love their new two concepts of kitchen tops. The Rendez-vous interactive table and the Volare redefines kitchen design and look something straight out of a sci-fi flick.

The Calculator Chairs unfortunately are not available for purchase however we still dig the idea. Conceptualized for a cover shoot for the Nikkei Pasokon (Personal Computer) Interior Series Magazine, the chairs would be a hit with all the math geeks.
