This is one piece that may have been around for some time now but the Mid-Century Typing Table is certainly something that many will still find useful. Here is a follow-up chair to the Aviation Chair. The Tip Tank Chair was made by Japanese designer Yoshi Yasuda, offering an alluring piece made from original aircraft wingtip tanks.

The $45,000 Auto Couch/Sofa!

This adorable looking Doremon cover can be had for a mere $10. Sold at Ebay Malaysia, it’s really cheap and adorable. Doremon, is a comic book, written by a famous Japanese comic artist.

If you are antique junki, then I am sure you must be visiting Ebay more often than you care to admit! I stumbled upon this interesting Chinese Opium Bed on Ebay, which was made during the 19th century in Shanxi or Shandong. Now those are some impressive credentials! The bed is up for auction and currently selling for US $950.00.

“The opium bed uses all tongue and groove construction (no screws, bolts,etc.) and the craftsmanship is remarkable. As seen, the panels, and front of the bed are covered in decorative carvings and handpainted accents on the deep red lacquer.The panels on the sides and back is removable. The piece is “93x”59x”34 with the panels, “93x”59x”21.5 without the panels. It probably weighs 300-400 pounds and is immensely sturdy. Free pickup from my house at 43rd & Pine St. in Philadelphia (right near I76).”

Chinese Opium Bed

I came across some interesting websites with water beds today. I remember my college roommate used to have a water bed. He had a special bed frame, water heater, and sometimes he had to fix leaks. In all, it was just a big mess but I did like the wavy feeling you get from a water bed.

In contrast to that cool wavy feeling, I guess a lot of todays water beds have waveless technology to get some of the waves out of water beds. Although I’ve never actually tried a “waveless” water bed, this might be some good technology since we do need to be able to sleep while our partners move around. Without the waveless technology, you might have hard time even balancing yourself in bed.

Well, if you don’t like water beds you can always go with a memory foam bed which is my personal choice.  But you can check out some water pillows.  Those are very comfortable without having to balance yourself in bed, just your head.

Waveless Water Bed Review

This news isn’t knew but we thought we’d bring up some of the fun parts. Oh yeah, Paris Hilton might also make some mattress backpacks, which is kinda cool. Maybe that can be used for romping while traveling.
