The shape of this creation is pretty much familiar and same goes with its functionality. However, the latter part may leave some people to think twice, especially if you want to see this chandelier last longer without sacrificing its mold.

The Candelier is a creation by Takeshi Miyakawa. It is made entirely out of wax and if you should dare light it up, expect it to drip wherever you may place it and most probably disintegrate. Created for the Creatomatic show at New York’s Eyebeam Gallery, it took ten weeks to cast and mold.

The idea really looks neat and poses a great alternative to lighting solutions that should use no electricity. However, some improvements perhaps could be great, especially if you talk about maintaining its form for a longer time.

Eva-Dry launches two new eco-friendly high capacity dehumidifiers, the E-500 and EH-500F. Eva-Dry is the first dehumidifier to combine efficiency with an eco-friendly process to eliminate moisture damage and odors in small enclosed areas.

David Colangelo, developer of Eva-Dry, points out that competitive products’ have a 6 to 8 week lifespan, are significantly more costly to use over the long-term and are harmful to the environment.
