The shape of this creation is pretty much familiar and same goes with its functionality. However, the latter part may leave some people to think twice, especially if you want to see this chandelier last longer without sacrificing its mold. The Candelier is a creation by Takeshi Miyakawa. It is made entirely out of wax and if you should dare light it up, expect it to drip wherever you may place it and most probably disintegrate. Created for the Creatomatic show at New York’s Eyebeam Gallery, it took ten weeks to cast and mold. The idea really looks neat and poses a great alternative to lighting solutions that should use no electricity. However, some improvements perhaps could be great, especially if you talk about maintaining its form for a longer time. Via The Candelier Chandelier?

If we have touch screens then certainly touch faucets would not be far behind. Familiar in most public toilets these days, we see the use of touch sensors in urinals, public faucets and even soap dispensers. Now don’t let the public have all the fun when it comes to enjoying the benefits of touch technology. This Delta 980T sure beats those infrared-controlled faucets in public bathrooms, which more often than not don’t even notice when your hands are directly underneath. Just bring the price down, Delta, and you’ll surely be met with an enthusiastic reception from those of us who aren’t wary of the juxtaposition of electricity and water.

For people who feel uncomfortable with their bed, here is a little device that can push you towards adjusting your sleeping posture. The Mattress Genie by Contour Products can transform your mattress into an adjustable bed for a fraction of the cost of a mechanical adjustable bed. With just the touch of a button, you can raise your bed to the angle that best suits your needs. You’ll love reading, watching TV, working or even eating in bed. The beauty of Mattress Genie lies in its simple, yet effective three-component design. The maintenance-free pump is controlled by a two-stage turbine design to give extraordinary lifting power and long-term reliability. It uses electricity to pump air into the lift chamber. The lift chamber is made of a thick, durable polymer with double welded seams that prevent air from escaping. It’s so strong that it can easily raise as much as 500 pounds. As the lift chamber fills with air, it gently flexes your mattress and the head of your bed is raised to the desired level. The wand control illuminates for nighttime use and allows you to operate the Mattress Genie from the palm of your hand.

Press the up button and the Mattress Genie’s lift chamber will raise your bed up to 26 inches. Press the down button to lower, or choose “flat” to quickly and completely flatten your bed.

For people who don’t want to limit themselves in the kitchen, here is an innovative concept that allows you to cook anywhere you wish. A great design particularly for the ones sorely lacking is space, all you need to make it happen is a reliable counter or table top. The cool thing about the pad is that it’s essentially a multi burner hot plate but with a stylish and portable design that’s really simple. Three round heating elements of various sizes incorporated in a roll-up LSR Liquid Silicon Rubber, which also has great thermal properties. And the silver plates are surrounded by tiny holes that constantly blow out a stream of hot air around the item being cooked, so that excess heat is not lost during cooking. Electricity comes a simple flat electrical plug. The pad is ideal because it can take temperatures ranging from -60 to 280 degrees centigrade. So, while the heating pads are boiling water and frying chicken, the LRS pad and the tabletop below it stay nice and cool. It’s also very easy to clean. While many of us rely heavily on the electricity consuming heaters installed in our homes, bear in mind that they will make the issue of electric bills escalate once they are used often. So what can a person do to spruce up some heat in their home? You can always turn to the natural means of warmth that include solar powered heating or even the old style pellet and traditional wood burning stoves. There are a lot of alternative to keep yourself warm and apparently these things can really save you a lot of trouble when it comes to finding the right warmth and temperature once the cold season starts to sink in. “Right now pellet stoves are just one of the hottest things going everybody is looking to make that dollar go a little bit further and with the efficiency of a pellet stove for people who are on propane the costs are astronomical,” said Gary Mook, General Manager at Sutherlands.
It’s always a good idea to get some Vitamin D and hence adding a sunroom makes sense. For any good sunroom, there are some pre-requisites like an airy room, large windows and electricity.

“First find out where the best place for the sunroom will be. You will want lots of sun exposure this will be important the placement of the sunroom.

Size of the sunroom how large do you want the room and what will your budget allow. Once you feel you have dimensions of the sunroom you will want to go to the next step.

Check out materials to build the sunroom. Find windows that will fit with in your budget and room. Roofing for the room is another factor. To keep the bad weather out and let the sun is will have to be determining what type of roofing material you will use.

Last the budget. How will you pay for this room? If you will need to take out a loan to build the room will you need to have all information together before going to a loan officer and remember to check out more than one to get the best deal on a loan.”

Chandeliers have long been bringing the tag of upgrading the level of homes, adding a touch of class and elegance placed in the right places. Sure they will have their issue of using to many incandescent bulbs that are the contributing elements towards aura and ambiance but the thing is also thinking that they are not the usual things turned on everyday. This is to emphasize on the issue that chandeliers encourage wasting electricity. But whether they are lighted on or not, you can just feel the difference that they brought before and will continue to do so today for homes who still acknowledge the difference in home atmosphere that these classy chandeliers bring to any home. Chandeliers have made a shimmering return to cool. Virtually all revamped restaurants and hotel bars are dotted with ornate cut-glass, crystal and plastic light fixtures. Cheap and chic versions are available at big box stores and then there are the singular creations of designers like Arik Levy. Levy is a prolific designer who has put his stamp on everything from opera sets to jewellery and furniture. (Source) The Gazette The Difference a Chandelier Brings in Homes

That’d cause you to switch on the air conditioning and the fan and waste electricity. How about the mall? No, then you’d have to spend money buying ice-cream for the kids and watching wifey buy more things and you don’t get to rest at all. How about….IKEA? Yeap, that’s what the Chinese in China are doing. They’re going to IKEA to rest. With the beds and comfortable couches, it’s actually a pretty damned practical place to rest, if you don’t mind the stares. These Chinese guys sure don’t. I’m impressed.
